Abstract

The shift to remote and hybrid work models by 2025 has fundamentally transformed team dynamics, presenting both novel challenges and opportunities for organizations worldwide. This article explores how remote work impacts communication, trust, motivation, and accountability within distributed teams and identifies key barriers such as communication gaps, social isolation, and time-zone coordination. Drawing on recent empirical data, the study highlights the benefits of remote work including increased autonomy and productivity, while also addressing risks like engagement decline.
