- Aims and Scope
The International Journal of Management (IJM) is a globally recognized, peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the advancement of theoretical and practical knowledge in all areas of management. The journal encourages submissions that address contemporary challenges, emerging trends, and innovative practices in management sciences.

Manuscripts sent via email will not be considered.
General Conditions:
- The manuscript must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
- Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis, and IJM publishes quarterly.
- The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the editorial team.
- Authors must ensure that all co-authors have agreed to the submission.

- Manuscript Formatting and Structure
Authors must format manuscripts using Microsoft Word and adhere to the structure below:
➤ Title Page
- Full article title (clear and descriptive, max 20 words)
- Author names, affiliations, ORCID iDs (if available), and email addresses
- Clearly identify the corresponding author
- Acknowledgments and funding information (if applicable)
➤ Abstract and Keywords
- Structured abstract: 150–250 words
- Include: purpose, methodology, key findings, and practical implications
- 4–6 keywords (separated by semicolons) for indexing purposes
➤ Main Body
Typical sections for an empirical article:
- Introduction
- Literature Review
- Research Methodology
- Results and Data Analysis
- Discussion
- Conclusions and Implications
- Limitations and Future Research Directions
➤ References
- Must follow the APA 7th Edition citation style
- In-text citations must correspond exactly with reference list entries
- All references must be complete, accurate, and retrievable online or in print
➤ Tables and Figures
- Must be numbered sequentially (Table 1, Table 2…; Figure 1, Figure 2…)
- Provide descriptive captions
- Ensure high resolution for figures (minimum 300 DPI)
- Place each figure/table in-text or in a separate appendix section
- Authorship Criteria and Ethical Responsibilities
- All listed authors must meet the ICMJE authorship criteria
- Contributions must be clearly stated for multi-author submissions
- Any changes to authorship after submission must be approved by all authors and the editor
- Authors are responsible for research integrity and ethical compliance, including IRB approval where applicable
- Plagiarism and Originality
IJM strictly adheres to publication ethics:
- All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software
- Submissions with more than 10% unoriginal or improperly cited content will be rejected
- Authors must ensure that previously published material is properly quoted and referenced
- Self-plagiarism is discouraged and must be disclosed
- Peer Review Process
IJM follows a
double-blind peer review
process:
- Manuscripts are initially reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief for scope and quality
- Suitable manuscripts are assigned to 2 independent reviewers
- Review period: 4–6 weeks, followed by a decision:
- Accept
- Minor Revisions
- Major Revisions
- Reject
Authors will receive constructive feedback and may be asked to revise and resubmit their manuscript within a set deadline (typically 15–30 days).
- Article Processing Charges (APC)
IJM supports open access to promote broad dissemination of research.
While there is no submission fee, a nominal APC is applicable only upon acceptance to cover production and hosting costs.
- Standard APC: $150 USD (subject to periodic review)
- Waivers or discounts are available for authors from low-income countries or in case of financial hardship (upon request)
- Open Access and Licensing
All published articles are made available under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
Authors retain full copyright of their work.
- Data Availability and Research Transparency
IJM encourages transparency and reproducibility. Authors are urged to:
- Share datasets and supplementary materials when possible
- Disclose any limitations in data collection or analysis
- Follow ethical data collection standards, including informed consent and anonymity
- Proofs and Publication
Accepted articles go through professional copyediting and layout.
- Proofs are sent to the corresponding author for final approval
- Authors must return corrected proofs within 3–5 business days
- Once approved, articles are published online first before appearing in a regular issue
