Abstract

International retail ecosystems increasingly rely on real-time data tracking to streamline supply chains, personalize consumer experiences, and enhance decision-making across geographically distributed markets. Technological advancements in IoT, RFID, cloud analytics, blockchain, GPS telemetry, and AI enable live monitoring of inventory, logistics, financial transactions, customer behavior, and demand fluctuations. Despite major benefits, real-time tracking faces challenges involving data privacy, cross-border regulatory compliance, cybersecurity risks, infrastructure inconsistencies, and platform interoperability. This paper examines real-time data frameworks across multinational retailers operating in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, using conceptual analysis and simulated datasets. Findings show that data latency reduction, cross-platform integration, and predictive analytics significantly enhance operational efficiency. A unified architecture is proposed to balance global coordination with localized agility.
